Acceptance of terms

By joining the Strangers community, signing up for updates, or attending a Strangers event, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, we'd still love to have you — just reach out first so we can talk it through.

Who can join

Strangers events are intended for adults. By registering, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you're able to attend responsibly.

Event participation

Spots at events are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change event details, reschedule, or cancel an event when necessary, and we'll do our best to give you notice when that happens.

Code of conduct

Strangers exists to help people feel safe making new connections. We expect everyone at our events to treat others with respect. We reserve the right to remove anyone from an event, or from the community, whose behavior makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.

Photos & media

We sometimes take photos or videos at events for use on our site and social channels. If you'd prefer not to be photographed, just let a host know when you arrive.

Liability

You attend Strangers events at your own discretion. While we take reasonable care in planning safe, well-run events, we aren't responsible for loss, injury, or damages arising from your participation, except where required by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Strangers grows. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
